Project Proton Continues…

Well it’s been a while since updating project proton, but its back underway…

Some of the parts have arrived to be fitted, seam welding is coming along nicely, roll cage is booked in, the brake setup is being worked out at the moment…

Have to modify the engine crossmember slightly to accomodate the Evo gearbox…

And the engine is being prepped and wired, as well as the extractors being built to suit…

Project: Proton Satria Rally Car

Well the new project has begun, our second Proton Satria Rally car is under development and is aiming for completion this month (April). Here are a few pics of the progress so far…

It will be built to the same specifications as our existing rally car, same supension/braking/engine setup and modifications, and will be competing in the state rounds under the PRC 1.6L class.

We have ordered Hydraulic Handbrakes, a set of DMS coilover suspension and some other bits and pieces while the car is off getting the roll cage sorted out…
